Virginia Partnership for Gaming and Health: Data Dashboard
The following charts represent an overview of the problem gambling support seeker population in Virginia based on our intake data beginning from January 1, 2026 to the present. The charts are updated continuously based on new intakes. Our intakes are conducted by VPGH staff CPRS and rely on the support seekers’ self-report. This dashboard provides a snapshot of problem gambling in Virginia, however, its scope is limited to those who seek out support from VPGH directly or are referred and complete an intake.

- Completed Intakes - An intake conducted by a VPGH staff CPRS after an individual has been referred to VPGH. The intake covers demographic information, gambling history/severity, and other comorbid conditions. After completing intake the support seeker can receive any and all VPGH services appropriate for their recovery. These can include clinical services, peer recovery services, and resources (e.g. VPGH support groups, connecting to other support groups, self-exclusion, gambling blocking software, and financial counseling).
- Assessment - An assessment is a clinical assessment conducted by a licensed clinician.
- CPRS - A Certified Peer Recovery Specialist
- CPRS-VPGH - A certified peer recovery specialist on the VPGH staff.
- CPRS-VPGH network - A certified peer recovery specialist within the VPGH network but not employed by VPGH.
- VPGH network - a network of providers (clinical and peer recovery specialists) who have completed problem gambling specific training and who receive support seeker referrals from VPGH.
- This data is based on self-reported information collected during VPGH intakes beginning on January 1, 2026 and includes all support seekers (persons gambling, affected others).
